Why you need it

The outer CV area works under constant angle and speed. A healthy boot locks grease in and blocks grit out. If your wheel arch shows grease spray, or the boot looks cracked or oily, replacement is due. Rebooting early saves the joint and avoids full axle replacement.

How it works ⚙️

The flexible bellows follows suspension travel and steering lock, sealing the joint with tight lips and clamps on small and large diameters. Fresh moly grease reduces friction and heat, while the boot keeps lubrication stable so the CV bearings roll smoothly mile after mile.

What happens if it fails ❗

A torn boot bleeds grease, lets in sand and water, and the joint runs dry. Symptoms follow fast: clicking on turns, shudder on take-off, vibration, and finally joint seizure. Ignoring it can lead to MOT/inspection issues and an expensive driveshaft swap.

Install tips

Clean the CV thoroughly, pack the supplied grease, seat the boot evenly, then tighten clamps to spec. Check full lock-to-lock movement for rubs. Reinspect after the first drive for any seep.
