This OEM-grade oil seal keeps gear oil inside the transaxle/differential and prevents dust and water from entering. It sits where the drive shaft (axle) meets the final drive. A fresh, tight seal protects bearings, gears, and the CV joint, ensuring smooth, quiet drive and long service life.

Why you need this part

Without a healthy axle oil seal, gear oil leaks out. Low lubricant means heat, wear, and metal damage. Replacing a bad seal is cheap insurance compared to a gearbox rebuild.

How it works

The seal is press-fitted in the housing. A flexible lip, energized by a garter spring, rides on the shaft surface. With proper lip tension and oil film, it locks fluid in and keeps grit out. Quality rubber resists heat and chemicals for reliable sealing.
