Why this part is needed

This hydraulic driver is the heart of the manual clutch system. It turns your foot pressure into fluid pressure, pushing the slave to release the disc. A healthy unit keeps starts smooth, protects synchros, and prevents clutch slip under load. If your pedal sinks, feels spongy, or bite point moves, the master is likely tired.

How it works βš™οΈ

Press the pedal and a pushrod drives a precision piston inside a honed bore. EPDM seals trap DOT fluid, sending pressure through the line to the slave. A return spring resets the piston, while a compensation port balances the reservoir to avoid drag. Correct bore size preserves factory pedal ratio and engagement feel.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Worn cups or a scored bore cause internal bypass: soft pedal, creeping at lights, hard gear selection, and grinding. Leaks at the firewall lower fluid level and draw air, making the clutch fail to release. Continued driving burns the disc and hammers gearbox synchros. Replace and bleed to protect the transmission.

Tech notes ️

Bench-bleed before fitting, use fresh DOT 3/4, torque line fittings to spec, and check pedal bush/clevis for play. Pair with a sound slave and hose for best results. Corrosion-resistant body and OE-style ports ensure quick, leak-free install.
