Immobilizer Antenna Assembly for Nissan/INFINITI

This small electronic ring is a key part of the vehicle anti-theft system . It is needed to read the transponder chip inside your key and allow the engine to start only when the correct key is present.

How It Works

When you insert the key or bring it close to the start area, the antenna creates a low-power magnetic field and “wakes up” the key chip. It then receives the coded signal and sends it to the immobilizer/ECU. If the code matches, the ECU enables fuel injection and ignition.

Symptoms When It Fails

If the antenna is weak, cracked, or has an internal open circuit, the car may crank but not start, show a security light, or start intermittently. In many cases the key is fine, but the reader cannot detect it.

What Happens If You Ignore It

Repeated no-start situations can leave you stranded . Some vehicles may also log immobilizer fault codes and block starting until the issue is fixed.
