Why you need it ⚡

The IPDM feeds headlights, cooling fans, fuel pump, ignition, and more. When the lid seals correctly, relays stay dry, fuses keep proper contact, and annoying intermittent faults are avoided. A small cover prevents big, costly failures.

How it works ️

High-temp polymer and tight snap tabs lock the cover to the box. A molded lip channels rain and wash spray away. The close fit reduces vibration and stops grime from creeping onto relay and fuse pins.

If broken or missing ❌

Cracks, broken tabs, or a warped lid allow moisture in, leading to corrosion, relay chatter, no-starts, stalling, flickering lamps, blown fuses, battery drain, and random DTCs. Leaving it off risks full IPDM failure.

Install notes

Clean the rim, check the sealing edge, align the hinge side, then press until every tab clicks. Ensure wiring sits below the lip and the cover is flush on all sides for a weather-tight seal.
