This small but critical sensor tells the HVAC brain the true air temperature inside your cabin. With accurate feedback, the system balances heat, A/C, and blower speed to keep your set temperature steady, reduce fogging, and improve comfort on every drive.

How It Works

Inside the unit is a fast-response thermistor. A tiny aspirator draws cabin air across it (or airflow passes naturally),changing electrical resistance with temperature. The climate module reads that signal and adjusts blend doors, compressor clutch, and fan speed in real time for smooth, efficient control.

Why You Need It

Correct cabin readings prevent overcooling, overheating, and compressor overwork—saving fuel and preserving HVAC components. OE-grade build ensures stable calibration and heat resistance.

Signs of a Faulty Sensor ⚠️
