Rear Hatch Lock Buzzer Module

This OE-spec back door chime gives a clear beep when the tailgate locks, unlocks, or stays ajar. It improves daily use and safety, confirming lock status without looking at the dash. Built with a weather-sealed piezo element, it resists moisture and vibration for long life and crisp sound.

How it works

The body control module sends a low-current signal when the latch reaches “lock” or when remote locking occurs. The piezo buzzer converts that pulse into a sharp tone. It mounts near the latch, uses a plug-in 2-pin connector, and draws very little power.

If it fails ⚠️

- No beep on lock/unlock; uncertain door status.
- Power liftgate may stop auto-close for safety.
- Possible BCM buzzer circuit fault code; alarm confirmation tone missing.

Install notes

Direct fit, plug-and-play. Reuse the bracket, keep sound port facing down, avoid over-torque, and test beeps after install.
