This engine timing sensor is a small but very important part of the fuel injection and ignition system. How It Works ⚡

Inside the sensor, an electronic pickup detects the rotating camshaft trigger point. Each rotation creates a signal pulse. The ECU uses this pulse to adjust injector timing and ignition strategy in real time.

If the sensor fails, the engine may crank for a long time, stall, misfire, lose power, or switch on the check engine light. In some cases, the car may not start at all, because the ECU cannot confirm correct camshaft position.
