Precision Mass Air Flow Sensor for Nissan engines ⚙️

This MAF unit measures the exact air volume entering the intake, so the ECU can mix fuel correctly. You need it to keep smooth idle, sharp throttle, clean emissions, and good fuel economy. When airflow data is accurate, the engine burns efficiently and the catalytic converter stays healthy.

How it works

Inside is a heated film/wire. Incoming air cools it; the sensor changes electrical current to hold temperature. That current becomes a signal the ECU reads as airflow. The ECU then sets injector pulse, ignition timing, and automatic transmission load values.

If it’s faulty

Expect hard starts, rough idle, flat spots, weak power, high fuel use, black smoke, and a Check Engine light (often P0100–P0104). The car may enter limp mode, foul plugs, and overheat the catalyst. Long driving with a bad MAF can damage O2 sensors.

Tech notes and install tips ️

OEM-style housing and calibration give plug‑and‑play fitment. Always replace/inspect the air filter, fix intake leaks, avoid oiled filters, clear codes, and perform an idle/ECU relearn after installation.
