RH valve cover gasket for Hyundai/Kia engines

This right-hand rocker cover seal keeps engine oil inside the head and blocks dirt from entering. It is critical for smooth top-end lubrication on V6/V8 Hyundai–Kia powertrains. A fresh gasket maintains proper crankcase sealing so the PCV system can work correctly and your engine bay stays clean.

How it works ️

The gasket sits between the aluminum cover and cylinder head. Under torque, it forms a heat- and oil-resistant barrier. During operation, it endures expansion, vibrations, and hot oil splash, preventing seepage around the perimeter and plug tube wells.

Why you need it ✅

Old rubber hardens and shrinks from heat cycles. Replacing this seal restores compression of the cover, stops leaks onto exhaust manifolds, protects ignition coils, and prevents oil smell.

If it fails ⚠️

Expect wet edges on the cover, burnt-oil odor, smoke from exhaust side, misfires from oil-flooded coil boots, and low oil level. Long term, it can damage coils, O2 sensors, and catalytic converters. Replace at first signs of seepage or during plug/coil service. Install on a clean surface, use correct torque in sequence, and inspect plug tube seals.
