Upper Radiator Hose for Nissan Cooling System

This molded upper hose is a key link in the engine’s cooling loop. It channels hot coolant from the engine outlet to the radiator inlet, keeping operating temperature stable for power, economy, and long engine life. Built from heat- and chemical-resistant EPDM with OE-style bends, it resists collapse, abrasion, and vibration for a precise, leak-free fit.

How It Works ❄️♨️

As the thermostat opens, coolant flows through this hose to the radiator’s top tank, where heat is shed to airflow. The hose must hold system pressure, flex with engine movement, and maintain internal shape so flow stays consistent at idle and highway speeds.

Why Replacement Matters ️

Rubber ages. Heat cycles and coolant additives can cause cracks, soft spots, or swelling. Symptoms include sweet coolant smell, drips near the radiator neck, rising temperature gauge, steam, or low coolant after trips.

If the Hose Fails ⚠️

Loss of coolant leads to overheating, warped heads, blown gaskets, or sudden roadside shutdown. Replace at the first signs of wear. Tip: install with new clamps, use a 50/50 premix, and bleed air from the system.
