Engine Timing Chain Cover Assembly (OEM Quality)

Why you need it ️

Replace when the cover is cracked from impact, corroded, or the front main seal/gasket leaks. A fresh cover stops driveway oil spots, restores correct oil control, and protects the chain, guides, and tensioner from dirt and moisture.

How it works

The rigid alloy housing bolts to block and head with a formed gasket and small RTV dabs at joint corners. It closes the chain cavity, routes oil to the guides, and carries the crank seal so lubrication and alignment stay correct. Proper flatness keeps oil pressure stable and the chain running smooth.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Expect oil leaks ️, low level, chain rattle on start, cam/crank sync faults (MIL),messy belts, and in worst cases jumped timing that can cause severe engine damage.

Install tips ✅

Always renew gasket and crank seal, clean mating faces, apply RTV at seams, torque in sequence, let sealant cure, then check for leaks and top up oil.
