Engine Coolant Thermostat Assembly

Keep your Nissan engine at the right temperature every mile. This precision valve unit manages coolant flow between block and radiator, helping the motor warm up fast and stay in the safe zone. Stable heat means better fuel economy, cleaner emissions, steady idle, and longer oil, hose, and gasket life. Built to OEM-grade standards for tight sealing and reliable spring action.

Why this part is needed

Engines run best around 85–95Β°C. Too cold wastes fuel and power; too hot risks serious damage. The thermostat keeps that balance in city traffic, highway cruising, or towing.

How it works

Inside is a wax pellet that expands as coolant heats. Expansion pushes a pin, opening the valve and sending hot coolant to the radiator. As temperature drops, the spring closes the valve, recirculating coolant in the engine. This cycle holds a steady operating temp.

If the unit fails ⚠️

Stuck closed: overheating, boiling coolant, warped head, head gasket failure. Stuck open: slow warm-up, rich mixture, higher fuel use, weak cabin heat, carbon build-up. A leaking or lazy valve causes temp swings and overworked fans.
