Fuel level sender sealing ring ⛽

This precision gasket seals the fuel level sensor flange to the tank on large Infiniti SUVs. Built to OEM geometry, it stops liquid fuel and vapors from escaping, keeps the EVAP system tight, and protects the gauge module. A fresh seal prevents cabin fuel smell, hard-to-find leaks, and false emissions faults.

Why this part is needed ️

Over time rubber hardens, flattens, or swells from ethanol blends. Replacing the seal restores a vapor-tight joint so the tank holds correct pressure and the gauge module stays dry and stable.

How it works

A molded elastomer ring sits between the sender and tank. When the locking ring is torqued, it compresses evenly, resisting heat, fuel, and E10–E85. This uniform compression keeps the sensor height fixed, so the dash gauge reads accurately.

Tech tips

Clean the groove, install dry or with fuel-safe lube only, align tabs, then torque the lock ring to spec. Always renew the seal when the module is removed. OEM reference: 17342EA000.
