Air Intake Flow Tube

This intake tube is a key link between the air filter box and the engine intake system. It is needed to guide clean air into the engine with the right volume and smooth flow. A stable airflow helps the engine breathe properly, keeps fuel mixture balanced, and supports good throttle response and fuel economy.

How It Works

The tube forms a sealed path so the engine pulls air only through the filter. Its shape reduces turbulence and helps airflow stay consistent for the sensors and throttle body. It also absorbs vibration and engine movement, preventing stress on connected parts and clamps.

What Happens If It’s Damaged

Cracks, loose clamps, or hardened rubber can cause unfiltered air leaks. That can lead to rough idle, hesitation, higher fuel use, whistling noises, and a check-engine light.
