How it works ⚙️

Fresh air is pulled through the intake snorkel into the housing, then forced through the filter media. The sealed box design keeps unfiltered air from bypassing the element, while the internal channels calm airflow before it reaches the throttle body. A good seal is just as important as the filter itself.

Cracks, warped covers, broken clips, or poor sealing can let dirt pass straight into the engine. That can cause rough idle, weak acceleration, higher fuel use, and sensor trouble codes. In severe cases, abrasive dust accelerates engine wear and can shorten engine life.
