Engine Crankcase Ventilation Tube (PCV Line) ?️

This replacement tube is a key link in the crankcase ventilation system. It routes blow-by gases and oil vapor from the engine to the intake side, helping the engine breathe correctly and keeping internal pressure under control. A healthy ventilation line supports stable idle, cleaner combustion, and reduced oil mist around the engine bay.

Why this part is needed ✅

Heat, oil fumes, and vibration slowly harden the rubber and weaken joints. Once the tube loses its seal or shape, the ventilation flow becomes restricted or leaks, which can upset fuel trim and increase sludge formation.

How it works ⚙️

The tube carries crankcase vapors through the PCV circuit. Under different engine loads, it maintains controlled airflow so pressure does not build up inside the crankcase, while vapors are re-burned instead of vented to atmosphere.

What happens if it’s broken ❌

Cracks or splits can cause vacuum leaks, rough idle, whistling noises, oil seepage, higher oil consumption, and sometimes a check engine light. A collapsed or clogged tube may raise crankcase pressure, leading to gasket leaks and faster oil contamination.
