Throttle Body Gasket Set for Honda Engines ️

This sealing kit is needed anytime the throttle body is removed for cleaning, intake service, or replacement. It sits between the throttle body and the intake manifold, stopping air leaks and keeping the engine’s measured airflow stable. A fresh seal helps the ECU control idle speed correctly and keeps fuel trim in range.

How It Works ⚙️

The gasket is made from fuel- and heat-resistant material that compresses when the throttle body bolts are tightened. This creates an airtight barrier so only air passing through the throttle plate is counted by the sensors. With a proper seal, throttle response stays smooth and the idle remains steady, even with A/C load.

What Happens If It’s Broken ❌

A damaged or reused gasket can cause a vacuum leak. Common signs are rough idle, high idle, hesitation, whistling noises, check engine light, lean codes, and poor fuel economy. In severe cases the engine may stall at stops or surge on light throttle.

Always install on clean, dry mating surfaces and torque evenly to prevent warping and future leaks.
