Why you need it

How it works

High‑efficiency pleated media screens fine particles while a silicone anti‑drainback valve stops dry starts after shutdown. A pressure relief (bypass) valve opens only if the element is clogged, ensuring the engine still gets oil flow. The nitrile/silicone gasket seals tight to prevent leaks.

If the filter is bad

Clogging causes low oil pressure light, lifter/tappet noise, rough idle, and power loss. The bypass may circulate dirty oil, accelerating wear and raising oil consumption. A torn seal can leak, risking bearing damage or even engine seizure if ignored ⚠️.

Tech tips
