By pulling oil from the sump and pushing it under pressure into oil galleries, it forms a protective film that reduces metal-to-metal contact and carries heat away.

How It Works ⚙️

Driven by the engine, the internal gears/rotor chambers trap oil and force it forward, creating pressure. A built-in pressure control valve helps prevent over-pressure at higher RPM, keeping lubrication stable across cold starts and hot running.

Why Replacing a Weak Pump Matters

If this pump wears, clogs, or loses pressure, the first signs are low oil pressure warnings, ticking lifters, or louder timing noise.
