Oil Gallery Seal for Precise Lubrication

This precision seal sits between the engine block and timing cover, locking in pressure inside the main oil passages. By keeping oil routed where it belongs, it feeds camshafts, VVT actuators, chain tensioners, and bearings. How It Works

The gasket uses a molded profile that compresses under torque to create a micro-tight barrier around the gallery ports. Heat-resistant materials handle continuous high temps and pulsing pressure. Correct crush and clean surfaces are critical—any debris or nicks can open a leak path and bleed pressure.

What Happens If It Fails ⚠️

Internal oil leakage reduces pressure without obvious external drips. Expect rattling on start-up, noisy timing chain, delayed VVT response, oil warning flicker at idle, and possible fault codes. Prolonged driving can score cam journals, wear chain guides, and accelerate bearing damage.
