Valve/Rocker Cover Gasket for Infiniti–Nissan engines ️

This premium rocker cover gasket seals the cylinder head to the cam (valve) cover, keeping engine oil inside and contaminants out. Why you need it

A healthy valve cover gasket maintains crankcase vacuum, protects timing components, and keeps spark plug tubes dry. It prevents mess on the block and shields sensors and belts from oil.

How it works

The molded elastomer seal sits in the cover groove and compresses evenly against the head when the cover is torqued. Heat-resistant rubber resists hardening, sealing around corners and cam cap joints; a dab of RTV at specified corners completes the seal.

If the gasket fails ⚠️

Expect oil seepage, burnt-oil odor, smoke near the exhaust, misfires from oil in plug wells, rising oil consumption, and grime buildup. Long term, it can foul O2 sensors, soften belts, and trigger a check engine light.

Install tips

Clean mating faces, use small RTV beads at cam cap transitions, replace cover grommets, and torque in sequence to spec. Inspect PCV system to prevent future leaks.
