Premium Valve Cover Seal for Nissan Engines ️

This high-temp rocker cover seal keeps engine oil inside the head and away from coils, plugs, and hot exhaust parts. It’s essential for clean running, safe emissions, and long life of ignition components. If you see wet edges on the cover, burnt-oil smell, or oil in plug wells, the top seal is due for renewal.

How It Works

The molded elastomer sits between the alloy cover and cylinder head. When properly torqued, it spreads even pressure along the perimeter and around bolt grommets and plug tube rings, blocking oil mist and vapor blow-by. The result is a dry top end and stable PCV flow.

When It Fails ⚠️

Expect seepage or drips on the manifold, smoke, odor, and gradual oil loss. Oil soaking the coils can cause misfires, rough idle, and hard starts. Long-term leakage can swell rubber mounts, dirty belts, and stain hoses, turning a small seal job into bigger repairs.

Install Tips

Clean both surfaces to bare metal, check cover flatness, and replace bolt grommets. Use tiny dabs of RTV only at cam cap “half-moons” and corners. Tighten in a crisscross pattern to factory torque—do not overtighten. After warm-up, recheck for weeps.
