How it works ️

The cam lobe lifts the valve via rocker/follower. The spring closes it, and the face seats perfectly against the seat ring. A precise stem-to-guide fit keeps it straight, while a hardened tip resists wear.

Expect rough idle, low compression, loss of power, intake popping, hard start, high fuel use, and a check engine light. Burnt or bent valves can damage the piston and head if driven further.
