Engine Water Inlet Connector

This cooling-system inlet piece is needed to guide fresh coolant from the radiator hose into the engine block or thermostat area. It helps keep operating temperature stable, prevents overheating, and supports good heater performance.

How it works

Coolant flows through this inlet port and is routed into internal cooling passages. As the thermostat opens and closes, the inlet maintains a sealed, directed flow path so circulation stays steady under load, traffic, or hot weather.

Why replacing it matters

Because it sits in a hot, pressurized environment, the housing and sealing surface can weaken over time. A clean, tight inlet connection protects against coolant loss and air entering the system (air pockets reduce cooling efficiency).
