Engine Valve Cover Assembly – Genuine Fit for Honda

Keep your top-end sealed and clean with this OEM-spec cam/rocker cover . It closes the cylinder head, keeps oil inside, blocks dust and moisture, and guides crankcase gases through the PCV path. Why you need it

It prevents oil leaks, protects cams and timing gear, stabilizes crankcase vacuum for smooth idle and low emissions, and keeps ignition coils dry. A tight cover means cleaner oil and better engine reliability .

How it works

The cover bolts to the head in a set torque pattern. A molded perimeter gasket and grommets compress to seal. Plug tube seals stop oil from entering the spark plug wells. Internal baffles separate oil mist so the PCV draws vapor, not liquid oil.

If it’s damaged or failing

Expect oil smell, wet edges, or drips; oil in plug wells causing misfires; rough idle or whistle from vacuum leaks; blue smoke and low oil; possible CEL (misfire/lean) and sludge over time .

Pro tips

Replace gasket set and grommets with the cover, clean mating surfaces, check PCV, torque on a cool engine in sequence, and inspect coil boots.
