Honda Head Cover Gasket Set — OEM‑grade Oil Leak Protection ️

This gasket kit seals the top of the engine (valve/rocker cover) to keep engine oil inside and dirt out. It includes the perimeter seal, spark plug tube seals, and cover bolt grommets. Built for heat and vibration, it’s the right fix for common Honda oil seepage around the head cover.

Why you need it

Over time the factory rubber hardens and shrinks. You’ll see oil around the cover, in the plug wells, or on the exhaust. Replacing the set restores a tight seal, stabilizes crankcase ventilation, and protects ignition parts. ✅

How it works

The molded elastomer compresses between the cover and cylinder head. Tube seals isolate the spark plug wells, while grommets keep even clamp force on each fastener. Proper compression creates an elastic, heat‑resistant barrier.

What happens if it’s worn or broken

Expect oil leaks, burning oil smell, smoke on the manifold, misfires from oil‑soaked coils, dirty plug wells, and gradual oil loss. Long term, this can damage sensors and rubber hoses and raise maintenance costs.

Install tips

Clean both surfaces, replace all seals and grommets, add a tiny bead of RTV only at the cam cap corners if specified, then tighten bolts in a criss‑cross sequence to Honda torque spec. Do not over‑tighten.
