Engine Valve Cover Gasket Set for Honda

This gasket kit seals the top of the cylinder head, keeping engine oil in and dirt out. It is essential for clean lubrication, stable crankcase pressure, and long valve-train life. If you notice oil sweat around the cover or smell burning oil, this kit is the cure.

Why it’s needed

With heat cycles, the old rubber hardens and shrinks. That leads to leaks at the cover perimeter, spark plug tubes, and bolt grommets. Replacing the set restores OE sealing and prevents costly messes.

How it works ⚙️

A formed rubber/silicone seal compresses between the cam/valve cover and the machined head surface. Included grommets seal the hold-down bolts; tube seals keep oil away from spark plugs. Proper torque spreads clamping evenly.

If it fails ⚠️

Expect oil drips, burnt-oil smell on the exhaust, misfires from oil-filled plug wells, rising oil consumption, and sludge buildup. Prolonged leaks can damage coils and soften hoses.

Clean mating faces, use sealant only at cam cap corners, replace grommets, inspect PCV, and torque in a crisscross pattern.
