Idler Pulley Assembly for Nissan Belt Drive

This pulley keeps the serpentine belt straight, quiet, and tight, so alternator, water pump, power steering, and A/C get reliable drive. OEM-grade materials and a sealed bearing ensure smooth rotation and long life. Correct tracking prevents slip, heat, and premature belt wear.

How it works ⚙️

Bolts to a bracket; spins on a sealed high-speed bearing. The machined rim guides the belt and damps vibration. Double shields and quality grease keep dust and water out, protecting the bearing at all RPMs.

If it fails ❗

Squeal, chirp, wobble, or grinding can appear. You may see belt fray/glaze, a battery warning light, engine overheating, heavy steering, or A/C cutting out. If it seizes, the belt may snap and strand you.

Service tips ️

Replace at first noise or play. Spin by hand; roughness means change. Torque the bolt, check alignment, and renew a worn belt. Inspect the tensioner and neighboring pulleys during service.
