Engine Head Seal Gasket

Why your engine needs it

How it works inside the block

Stacked steel layers with embossed beads crush evenly under the head bolts. Fire rings guard each cylinder, while precise ports seal oil and coolant. The gasket flexes with aluminum expansion yet stays tight, mile after mile.

When it fails ⚠️

Expect hard starts, misfire, white smoke, sweet exhaust smell, overheating, bubbling in the tank, and milky oil. Keep driving and you risk warped heads, washed bearings, O2 sensor and cat damage, and a costly rebuild.

Tech install tips

Check deck flatness, clean threads, use new TTY bolts, follow factory torque/angle in sequence, no extra sealant, and bleed the cooling system. Fresh coolant is a must.
