Rear Left Suspension Control Arm Assembly (No.2) ️

This rear suspension arm is a key link between the rear knuckle and the chassis on the left side. It is needed to keep the wheel aligned under load, hold the suspension geometry, and let the vehicle track straight and stable during braking, cornering, and acceleration.

How it works ⚙️

The arm guides the rear wheel through its travel while rubber bushings absorb road shock and reduce vibration. As the suspension moves up and down, the arm controls toe and camber changes, helping the tire stay flat on the road for better grip and even tire wear.

Signs of failure & what happens if it’s broken ❗

When bushings split or the arm bends from impact, the rear wheel can shift position. You may notice clunking over bumps, loose or “floating” rear feel, uneven tire wear, and poor stability at speed. If ignored, it can cause rapid tire wear, unstable braking, and extra stress on the knuckle, links, and wheel bearings.
