Precision A/C Expansion Valve for Toyota Climate Control โ„๏ธ

This precision meter valve keeps your Toyotaโ€™s cabin cool and your compressor safe. It regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator, holding the right superheat so air stays cold and stable, even in traffic. Built to OE specs for tight sealing, fast response, and long life.

Why this part is needed

Without correct refrigerant metering, the system canโ€™t absorb heat. The cabin warms up, the compressor overworks, and fuel use rises. A quality valve restores cold vent temps and protects the whole HVAC system.

How it works

A sensing bulb reads evaporator outlet temperature. Through a diaphragm and needle, it opens or closes to create a pressure drop, turning high-pressure liquid into low-pressure mix. The result: efficient R134a cooling and balanced system pressures.

What happens if it fails โš ๏ธ

Stuck closed: weak cooling, high high-side, noisy cycling, compressor overheating. Stuck open: icing on lines/evaporator, foggy vents, liquid return (risk of slugging),uneven temps. Left unchecked, it can kill the compressor and contaminate the system.

Pro install tips

Replace receiver/drier, renew green HNBR O-rings with light PAG oil, evacuate 30โ€“45 min, charge by weight, and leak-test. Flush if old compressor failed.
