Front Right Wheel Arch Extension – Purpose ️

This RH front wheel opening extension (fender flare trim) closes the gap at the arch and continues the fender line. It shields paint from stones, mud, and salt spray, protecting the lip from chips and corrosion. It also restores the factory look and keeps airflow and splash patterns correct for quiet, clean driving.

How It Works

The molded panel attaches to the fender and liner using clips and screws for OEM‑fit. Its outer profile deflects debris away from the door and sill, while the inner lip overlaps the liner to block water and grit. When aligned properly, tight gaps prevent flutter at speed and keep the seal effective on‑road and off‑road.

If It’s Damaged ⚠️

Cracks or missing clips allow grit to sand the paint, leading to rust on the arch. Mud and water can reach hinges and wiring, and spray will cover the side of the vehicle. You may notice rattles, misaligned trim, and uneven tire splash. Ignoring it risks costly paintwork and faster fender corrosion.

Tech Notes
