Rear Bumper Side Extension Assembly (OEM-Grade Fit) ?

This body trim extension is a small but critical piece that finishes the rear bumper edge and helps the bumper cover sit straight and tight. It’s needed to keep proper panel gaps, support the bumper corner, and protect the joint area from vibration, road splash, and minor knocks.

How It Works

The extension mounts to the bumper/quarter area using factory clip and screw points. It acts like a guide and stabilizer: it holds the bumper corner in the correct shape, reduces flex at speed, and keeps the cover aligned with nearby trims and lamps. When installed correctly, it prevents rubbing and unwanted movement.

What Happens If It’s Broken

A cracked or missing extension often causes a loose bumper corner, uneven gaps, and rattling over bumps. You may see the bumper edge popping out, clips failing repeatedly, paint scuffing where panels touch, and faster wear from water and dirt getting into the seam. In impact, the bumper corner can tear more easily without this support.
