Why this part is needed

The front lower control arm (left side) holds the wheel hub in the correct path, keeping alignment stable and ride smooth. It controls camber during cornering, supports braking loads, and filters road shocks through its bushings. For family vans and highway trips, a healthy arm means straight tracking, quiet suspension, and even tire wear.

How it works

Built around a strong arm body with a sealed ball joint and rubber bushings, it connects the chassis to the steering knuckle. The bushings flex to absorb vibration, while the ball joint pivots as the wheel moves and steers. This lets the suspension travel freely, maintains geometry, and reduces noise and harshness .

What happens if it’s broken

Worn bushings or a loose ball joint cause clunking on bumps, steering wander, pulling, crooked steering wheel, and uneven tire wear. Expect vibration under braking, longer stopping distance, and poor stability. If the ball joint fails, the wheel can collapse inward—serious safety risk ⚠️. Replace promptly and align after installation.
