This steering column indicator switch is a small but very important control part for safe road driving. ⚙️ How It Works

When the stalk is moved up or down, internal copper contacts close the circuit for the left or right indicator lamps. The flasher relay then makes the bulbs blink. After the steering wheel returns from a turn, the cancel mechanism normally brings the lever back to the center position.
