This sensor assembly is needed to measure how much air enters the engine. The ECU uses this signal to calculate the correct fuel amount, helping the engine start easily, idle smooth, and pull strongly under load. It is a key part for clean combustion and good fuel economy.

How It Works

⚙️ Inside the housing, a sensing element reads incoming air volume and sends a voltage/Hz signal to the engine computer. The ECU then adjusts injector pulse and ignition timing in real time. A good reading keeps the air‑fuel ratio stable during acceleration, cruising, and cold starts.

Why Replacement Matters
