Upper Radiator Coolant Hose — OEM ref MB538803
This high-quality upper coolant hose links the engine outlet to the radiator inlet on tough Mitsubishi SUVs. It carries hot antifreeze from the cylinder head to the radiator, where heat is removed. A strong, leak-free hose keeps engine temperature stable, protects components, and preserves reliable performance on- and off-road.
Why you need it
Heat cycles, pressure, and age make rubber hard, swollen, or cracked. Replacing a tired hose restores correct coolant flow and pressure. It prevents hot spots, overheating, and expensive head gasket or radiator repairs. It’s a small part that guards the entire cooling system.
How it works ❄️
Once the thermostat opens, coolant exits the engine through this upper line and enters the radiator for cooling. The hose must keep its shape, resist collapse, and seal securely under vibration. Proper reinforcement and exact routing ensure smooth flow and long service life.
