How it works

The unit threads into the oil gallery. Inside, a diaphragm reacts to oil pressure and changes electrical resistance (or switches a contact on/off). The ECU/dash reads this signal to show a value or trigger a warning. Proper sealing keeps the gallery leak-free; the connector delivers stable voltage and signal ground.
