This assembly secures the lower control arm to the frame and filters road shock through heavy-duty rubber bushings. It preserves caster and camber, stabilizes ride height, and cuts vibration. The result is precise steering, longer tire life, and a quieter cabin—on highway or trail.
Why you need it ️
Years of load, mud, and road salt fatigue the bushings and mounting holes. Replacing this support restores correct geometry, eliminates clunks, and protects the chassis from impact stress. It’s a smart fix during alignment or after off‑road abuse.
How it works ⚙️
A robust steel bracket bolts to the chassis rail. The control arm pivot runs through serviceable bushings inside the support. Under braking and bumps, it distributes forces into the frame while isolating noise, keeping the arm located exactly where the alignment expects.
If damaged ❗
Expect knocking over bumps, steering wander or pull, feathered tires, brake instability, and alignments that won’t hold. In severe cases the arm can shift, risking loss of control—don’t ignore it.
Pro tips
