Información
Premium Front Disc Brake Pads for Mitsubishi
Restore factory braking power with OEM‑grade front pads engineered for Mitsubishi performance and comfort. Expect confident bite, low dust, and quiet stops in city or highway use. A heat‑stable compound resists fade on repeated braking, keeping your pedal feel solid and predictable.
Why this part is needed
Brake pads are wear items. As the friction layer thins, stopping distance grows and rotors run hotter. Fresh pads protect the rotors, keep ABS calibration true, and deliver safer, shorter stops—especially in wet or downhill driving.
How it works
Press the pedal and the caliper clamps each pad onto the spinning rotor. The layered design—friction block, steel backing plate, and anti‑noise shim—turns motion into heat while controlling vibration. Chamfers and slots reduce squeal, and a wear indicator tab chirps near end of life.
What happens if pads are worn or damaged ⚠️
Expect longer braking, high‑pitched squeal or grinding, steering pull, and pedal vibration. Metal‑to‑metal contact can score rotors, overheat fluid, and trigger ABS events—raising stopping distances, repair costs, and safety risk.
Install tips
Replace in axle pairs, clean/lube slide pins, torque caliper bolts, and bed in with 5–8 medium stops. Inspect rotor thickness and runout; service if needed.
