Why this part is needed

Over time, the internal spring and check valve wear. Oil pressure bleeds off, the chain loses tension, and you hear a brief rattle at startup or constant noise under load. Replacing the unit restores quiet operation and precise timing.

How it works ⚙️

The body houses a plunger and spring that pre-load the chain. Once oil pressure builds, a non-return valve locks in hydraulic force, maintaining constant tension across RPM. Anti-drainback design reduces dry starts.
