Rear Brake Rotor for Nissan 4x4

This rear brake disc is built to OEM geometry for strong, quiet stopping on road, trail, and tow. Precision-machined faces keep pad contact even, reduce vibration, and help your SUV stop straight. High‑grade cast iron stores and sheds heat so braking stays consistent, mile after mile.

Why you need it

The rotor works with the caliper and pads to slow the wheel. Fresh, true rotors restore pedal feel, shorten stopping distance, and protect pads from uneven wear. It’s especially important on heavy 4x4s that see long descents or off‑road loads.

How it works ⚙️

The disc bolts to the hub and spins with the wheel. When you press the pedal, pads clamp both sides, turning motion into heat that the rotor dissipates. The hat section also serves as a drum surface for the internal parking brake on many models, keeping handbrake hold secure.

What happens if it’s bad

Warp or runout causes pedal pulsation, steering shake, and longer stops. Heat spots and cracks can trigger ABS early, glaze pads, and raise stopping distances. Severe rust on the hat can weaken the parking brake hold. Ignore it and you risk uneven pad wear, noise, and fade under load .

Tech notes

Replace rotors in pairs, clean the hub face, torque lugs evenly, and bed new pads. Always check thickness and runout against spec.
