This precision hydraulic valve steers ATF pressure so your automatic gearbox selects the right gear at the right time. Built to OE-grade standards with a heat‑stable coil and corrosion‑resistant body, it restores crisp shifts, cures delayed engagement, and helps prevent limp mode. Ideal when you have harsh shifting, hunting between gears, or fault codes related to shift control.
Why you need it
It meters pressure for upshift, downshift, and lockup circuits. When worn, sticking, or weak, the control unit can’t modulate clutches smoothly. Fresh solenoid brings back factory timing, reduces heat, and protects internal friction packs.
How it works
An energized coil moves a plunger to switch three oil paths. The body directs fluid through ports to selected clutches/brakes. Correct electrical resistance keeps the ECU satisfied; precise spool clearances keep flow stable under load.
