    How it works

    Mounted in the ventilation housing, the unit channels intake air through a deodorizing media (often with activated charcoal) and a small ionizing/refresh layer. When the HVAC runs, air passes through, trapping particles and breaking odor molecules. Power is taken from the HVAC harness; flow arrows guide correct orientation ️.

    If it fails or is clogged

    Expect musty smell, weak airflow, noisy blower, quicker windshield fog, and irritated eyes or throat. In severe cases the blower works harder, raising electrical load and wearing brushes faster. Replace at 12 months/15–20k km, sooner in dusty or humid climates.
