How it works ⚙️

If it fails ❗

Expect humming or growling that rises with speed, heat at the hub, ABS light due to sensor disturbance, wheel play, and feathered tires. Ignoring it can score the spindle, damage the hub, and in extreme cases seize the wheel.

Tech notes

Press only on the outer race, replace the seal, clean the bore, and torque to spec. Always check preload and alignment for long life.
