This OE-grade coil feeds each cylinder a strong, timed spark, turning weak starts and rough idle into confident, smooth running. It restores throttle response, fuel economy, and lowers emissions by delivering stable voltage to the spark plug under heat and load.

How it works

The engine computer pulses the primary winding. When the field collapses, the secondary winding produces tens of thousands of volts. That energy travels through the insulated boot to the plug gap, igniting the air‑fuel mix. Epoxy potting resists vibration, while a built‑in suppressor keeps radio noise low.

Why you need it ✅

Age, heat, and oil intrusion can crack the housing or boot, causing misfire, hesitation, and hard starts. A failing unit wastes fuel, triggers the check engine light, and can overheat catalytic converters, damage plugs, and stress coils on neighboring cylinders.

Fitment and install tips

OE connectors, exact dwell response, and heat‑resistant silicone boot ensure plug‑and‑play fit. Swap one per cylinder; seat the boot fully on the plug and add a thin film of dielectric grease. Avoid yanking the wire; use gentle torque on the retaining bolt.
