Propeller Shaft Center Support Bearing Set

Why it’s needed

This driveshaft support (center bearing) holds the propeller shaft on its axis under load. It reduces vibration, keeps U-joints aligned, and protects the transmission and differential for smooth, quiet drive.

How it works

A sealed ball bearing sits in a rubber isolator within a rigid bracket. The bearing lets the shaft spin freely; the rubber absorbs body and suspension movement. This keeps rotation stable and noise low at all speeds.

If it’s worn or broken ⚠️

Signs include humming, thump on take‑off, and a shake at 40–80 km/h. Driving like this can stress U-joints, bend the shaft, damage the gearbox mount, and waste fuel.

Build & fitment

OE-grade steel races, heat‑resistant elastomer, and pre‑lubed, sealed internals. Direct bolt-in. Align the shaft, set correct preload, and torque brackets to spec for long life.
