    This precision seal set restores the hydraulic tightness of your power steering gear. It keeps fluid where it belongs, holds pressure for smooth assist, and protects internal parts from dust and moisture. If your wheel feels heavy, you smell fluid, or see red drops under the front end, the steering box seals are likely worn and need renewal.

    Why this part is needed

    Over time, heat, vibration, and old fluid harden the lip seals and O-rings. Leaks lower pump pressure, reduce assist, and contaminate bearings and bushings. Replacing all sealing elements at once prevents repeat teardown and keeps the steering safe and precise.

    How it works ⚙️

    The kit includes input/pinion and sector shaft lip seals, cover O-rings, spool valve rings, and copper or alloy washers. Together they lock in hydraulic pressure, separate return and assist circuits, and keep dirt out. Proper sealing maintains linear assist and quiet pump operation.
