    Hydraulic Timing Chain Tensioner ⛓️️

    This OE-style unit keeps steady pressure on the timing chain so the camshaft and crankshaft stay in perfect sync. It stops chain slap, start-up rattle, and timing drift, giving smooth idle, clean acceleration, and reliable power.

    Why you need it

    With age, the factory tensioner can lose spring force or bleed oil. That creates slack, noisy starts, and unstable valve timing. A fresh unit restores quiet operation, protects the chain and guides, and helps fuel efficiency.

    How it works

    An internal spring sets base preload. Engine oil then hydraulically supports the plunger, while a ratchet mechanism holds position as the chain wears. The result is precise chain tension across all RPM and temperatures.
